ABOUT DIAMOND CUBS

Diamond Cubs Enrichment Program serves infants through young adults in the DMV metropolitan area.

Diamond Cub’s mission is to give youth an opportunity to explore the city they live in and be discoverers of their community, while providing daily curriculum for enrichment and hands on field learning and recreation. Diamond Cubs Summer Camp is for youth and families who enjoys a fun mix of creative activities, games, swimming and sports in a safe, nurturing and academically stimulating environment. Our objective is to engage all children and families in enriching and resourceful activities through exposure and discovery.

WHAT we offer:

Founded in 2012, Diamond Cubs Enrichment Program has offered many programs in the DMV metropolitan area that stimulates the growth and development of youth, families and educators. Diamond Cubs is staffed by a team of dedicated and knowledgeable, energetic professionals. Staff members take pride in working with youth daily. Under the supervision of Diamond Cubs experienced adult staff, youth have fun, develop new skills, try new things, gain confidence and grow in ways that will benefit them long after the program is over.

Diamond Cubs Summer Camp

Our 6 week summer enrichment day camp provides daily lesson plans created by educators in the district, creative arts incorporation in stem, cooking, science, dance, cosmetology and more and a number of field learning opportunities to libraries, parks, pools and museums. Youth participate in field experience to learn and exercise new skills in STEM and creative arts.

The Cub Academy

Established in 2019, The Cub Academy provides full- time, infant and toddler preschool care. This academic based program incorporates a full scheduled day of academic, motor, art and music skills on a 52 week thematic learning plan. Enjoy video surveillance, touchless sign in and out, electronic daily reporting, freshly prepared healthy and nutritious meals while making the best choice for your cub’s growth and development.

Afterschool care

Diamond Cubs Enrichment Program offers full-time out of school time programs for youth grades K-5th grade. This program provides youth with a pm snack, games, crafts and activities as well as daily homework help and D.E.A.R time.

CURRICULUM

Our curriculum has been developed to meet the individual needs of each child on a thematic learning framework. We acknowledge that children frequently have differing abilities and therefore require different approaches to cognitive learning. Children will get small group and one on one instruction to support this growth. Our main focus is to engage, encourage and expose. Our curriculum is designed with built in field trips in order to give all participants hands on exposure and field experience.
